Mobile Clinics Reach Two New Townships

KHAI's mobile health teams have begun regular visits to two additional townships that have gone without consistent medical services, expanding care to more than 3,000 residents who previously had to travel significant distances for even basic treatment.

The expanded routes were planned in coordination with community leaders in each township, who helped identify the most accessible and trusted locations for clinic days. Early visits have focused on general consultations, maternal and child health checks, and catching up residents on routine vaccinations that had lapsed during periods of displacement.

The health team plans to monitor turnout and needs over the coming months to determine whether visit frequency should increase, and whether either township could eventually support a small permanent health post.
