Learning Centers Initiative

Hundreds of displaced children in camp settings have had no access to formal schooling since being forced from their homes. Without intervention, many risk falling permanently behind or leaving education altogether to help support their families.

This initiative establishes temporary learning centers equipped with desks, basic teaching materials, and safe outdoor play space where possible. Each center follows a simplified curriculum designed to keep core literacy and numeracy skills progressing, even under difficult conditions.

Teachers, many of whom are displaced themselves, receive training and modest stipends through the project, turning a shared hardship into a source of steady work and purpose. As new camps form or existing ones grow, the project team assesses where the next center is most urgently needed.
